THAME. On February 9th 2012, Richard Eric 'Dick' passed away peacefully in the Rainbow Room surrounded by his family, aged 80 years. Much loved husband of Betty and loving father of Val, Steve, Gill and Dawn and a dear grandfather and great grandfather. Funeral Service to be held on Monday February 27th at West Berkshire Crematorium at 11.15am. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, by cheque and payable to Newbury and District Cancer Care Trust and sent c/o Howe and Son Funeral Directors, Bear Hill, Kingsclere, Newbury, RG20 5QA. Tel. (01635)298303

I May not have known you over the past few years very well and shared recent memories with you, the ones I have of you are so special as I told you over the last few months when fate brought us back together.
You were good to me and my family and got me out of some tricky situations when I was younger, You fixed me Horse stable, mended me dads van door wen I crashed it, fixed me bike, blew raspberries in me ear, gave me advice, showed me how cars worked and above all showed me what a lovely kind,generous man you were.
You always had time for people, whoever they were. I hope you have a peaceful & restful time with the Angels that will look after you,
I will never forget you Uncle Dick, I will always have fond and loving memories of you.
